The Circus

I went to the circus tonight but I forget the name of the show... "l'art de (?)" . Sorry, I forgot. I went with two of my friends, Clint and Fernando. Clint is one of the students from UH, but Fernando is from Mexico and he doesn't know any english, only french and spanish. It's GOOOOD practice for Clint and I to talk with him because we're forced to speak only in french. His french is actually quite good, better then the two of us, but he says it's a lot easier for him because espangol and francais are very similar. He's absolutely adorable. Fernando had found this circus on the internet.. it was pretty darn cool! First circus I've ever been to :) What was really interesting was the seats were more like lounge chairs; you just lean back, relax and watch them perform their acrobatic trips above you. There's a picture of the three of us relaxing in our chairs waiting for the show to begin. Another cool thing about the circus was that there was live music as well... but they were performing on a plat form above you as well, along with the acrobats. Neat :) Sadly, I couldn't take any pictures of the acrobats in action, swinging around and throwing eachother everywhere, because I needed the flash. Had I used flash.. someone would have probably fell and died. MON DIEU that would have been bad. The only pictures I was able to take was of them taking their bows at the end of the show. Well, tomorrow is a Sunday and on Sundays everything is closed except for the museums and tourist things. I don't know what I'm going to do.. but whatever it is I know I'll be walking there and taking plenty-plenty pictures. I'll try to take a picture of my delicious crepe next time and make you all jealous. Once again, BONNE JOURNEE!
