In my apartment and room

The first picture is NOT my building. It's a building across the street from mine. This is what I looked for when I got lost a night but I knew I was in my neighborhood.
The second picture is the stairs to my apartment which is on the 4th floor but, in hawaii that would be the 5th because the french don't count the lobby. I refuse to take the elevator because it can only fit 2 people MAX in there and what if it breaks?! Plus, someone comes into the elevator with you and they don't even smile.. they just STARE INTO YOUR EYES...and then they look you up and down to see what you're wearing. Nah, only some.. no, most.
I'd rather take the stairs and heave then take the elevator and come face to face with a beautiful parisian model (as they all are here).
The third picture is me in my room with my computer. Madame Courreges was asking me something about dinner and I then asked her if she could take a picture of me in my room. She then told me to sit in my chair and type. ha, she's so cute.
I'm not sure if I'm coming down with a small cold but it feels like that. I'm pretty tired right now but I'm going to force myself to stay awake or else I'll end up waking up at 5am like the last time. It seems me and most of the other students are still a little jetlagged. We all get tired at noon. Well, its sunday so not many stores are open right now around my place. Only the open market but I went there this morning. They don't have the orange juice that I need :( However, I did buy a pound of almonds :) heh. The open market is awesome though.
I had this champignon (mushroom) pastry, it wasn't that great though. Actually, I burped after and could taste it and on my way to the Notre Dame I felt like I was going to barf. I just prayed could reach a bathroom so I wouldn't completely embarass myself right infront of the Notre Dame. I wanted to see the mass going on but it was much too crowded. Perhaps another time. A friend and I then went to the outskirts of paris (WHERE ALL THE FOOD IS CHEAP!) and went to the flea market. It was pretty small. Much like the usual flea markets where they all sell the same stuff. Those french people are so sly.. or perhaps it's because i love the language so much that I'm persuaded so easily.. I almost bought a lighter with the eiffel tower on it that blinks and makes a green flame. Now why would I need a lighter? Who knows why, but he made me feel like there was a reason. ha.
Tomorrow I have a placement exam for my classes. I start school on the 8th. Wish me luck. It's both a written and oral exam. Yikes. AUREVOIR!
